Healthy Nature
Cultivating habits, mindsets, and environments that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Healthy Nature provides specific, tailored therapeutic interventions to help build capacity in individuals with complex disability and mental health in the Victorian Gippsland Region.
Healthy Nature facilitates a pathway of support that enables physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and economic development. This includes supporting understanding of the Nature and impact of diagnosis; strength-based skill building for self-advocacy, effective communication, and conflict management; and explicitly teaching social and life skills necessary for positive relationship building.
Healthy Nature works with individuals with:
- Learning disabilities (Intellectual Disability)
- Developmental Disorders (eg: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD)
- Mental Health (Trauma, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Disordered Eating, Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder)
- Forensic Behaviours
Healthy Nature aims to help individuals build healthier, safer, independent lives. We believe that people with a dual disability should have access to the best possible collaborative care. To achieve this, we work with specialist services in Victoria to facilitate assessment and treatment, provide support, and assist the management of people with complex dual disabilities.
